Help Rise Youth Ministry raise money for our mission/service projects like our backpack & school supply distributions, El Paraiso food pantry, Thanksgiving Boxes, Christmas Share, Project Cornerstone, & Mission Service Project.
We'll be selling tacos and drinks from 8:30am to 2:00pm to anyone and everyone who attends the Rummage Sale. Don't forget that you can earn service hours by participating! We Hope you'll come!

Current 8th Graders are eligible to participate in Confirmation Classes. We know that not everyone is ready to make or can make this journey, which is why we want to visit with you about what it will entail.

Tent Revival is an awesome event that is happeing October 15-16th! We went to the first one last year, and it was a great time of worship and fellowship! Deadline to sign up for this SWTX Conference event is Sunday, October 2nd. Cost to you is $30, but you will need to bring enough $$ for a meal Saturday Morning and a meal Sunday afternoon. We will leave EARLY on Saturday Morning and return on Sunday Evening. In order to attend, you must complete a Parental Consent/Release Form (must be notarized) & a Student Covenant.

Tent Revival is a return to the days of the early Methodist movement when camp and revival meetings were the norm, not the exception. Tent Revival is a time for worship, confession, revival, renewal and fellowship for youth.
What’s the Purpose?
Tent Revival will focus on worship in the Tabernacle (a free standing tent set up for the event.) Participants will be invited to 5 times of worship in the Tabernacle as well as time optional times of prayer. Prepare to relax, hang near the river, and enjoy times of fellowship and meals, and most of all - be engaged in a spirit of revival, prayer and worship for the LORD.
What to Expect?
A 24-hour retreat focused on prayer, worship and fellowship. Three meals will be provided - lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday breakfast. The registration fee for both youth and adults is $60 which covers all meals and snacks.
What to Bring?
Bring your own tent for sleeping. We will not provide these. Youth groups coming together may share tents. (no mixed gender tents permitted). Please bring a sleeping bag, rain gear, swim suit, a towel, a Bible, a change of clothes, bug spray and personal toiletries. Bathrooms will be available but no shower facilities.
Where is it located?
Tent Revival is located at a private ranch in Spring Branch, Texas, approximately 40 miles north of San Antonio off Hwy 281. The address of ranch is 7150 Rebecca Creek Road, Spring Branch TX. (signs will mark entrance) From Hwy 281 N / Rebecca Creek Road intersection (also a large golf ball marks this intersection) the ranch is 6 miles to the east on Rebecca Creek Road.

Who will be leading?
Assorted SWTX Conference worship bands such as Mark Swayze, Dave Stewart and Zach Huckabee and assorted speakers will be gathering at the Tent Revival. Students will be encouraged to come prepared to worship, share, participate and seek God with their whole hearts.

BE | Play [ 5:00 to 7:00pm ]
Sundays at Rise that feature BE | Play, we do just that - we hang out, and we have fun! From Dodgeball, to Sardines, to Ultimate Frisbee or Kickball, or playing games in our youth game room, we just have a good time playing and hanging out together! We eat dinner together as a group on BE | Play Sundays.
GIVE | El Paraiso Food Pantry [ 3:00 to 6:00pm ]
Sundays at Rise that feature GIVE | El Paraiso Food Pantry, we operate a food pantry at the El Paraiso United Methodist Church Mission in Mission, Texas. Every month we take time to feed people who need food. Jesus fed people, and since we want to be like him, we do too! Our departure time is prompt, so don’t get left behind!
